Smart Eyes Ltd have been offering a complete optical manufacturing service
to clients for over 20 years. and two decades later this family business
are still renowned for stylish quality, and value for money, with every
pair of glasses they produce.
"Because we are manufacturing opticians, we do not carry out eye tests,
but work from person's recent prescription (provided wherever an eye test
is carried out)" says Kathy Smart, whose husband Steve has over 30
years experience in the optical industry. "We are just as happy to
re-glaze new lenses into existing frames, or to provide a brand new pair
of spectacles."
By manufacturing each pair of glasses themselves, prices are kept down, and clients are often surprised to find that their glasses can be as much as 50% cheaper than in a high street shop.
"Our glasses are priced to suit all pockets, from budget frames to
designer names. However, no matter what the price, each pair is manufactured
to the very high standards our reputation has been built on."
Smart Eyes specialise in rimless glazing, but are experienced in more unusual requests; for example, prescription swimming or skiing goggles.
