Our teams play in the Bournemouth Youth Football league. The club provides local children ages 7 to 16 with the opportunity to play league football and the organisationís objective is to promote and facilitate youth football in the local Highcliffe and Christchurch communities.
The football club aims to provide local children with the opportunity to attend regular training, coaching, tournaments and play league football matches.
The organisation is run on a voluntary basis by parents (both mums and dads) of the children. The teamís ground is based at Wingfields, Highcliffe. The 2013-2014 season will see 4 Hawks teams playing in the Bournemouth youth league,
U7, U8, U9 & U16.
If you are interested in playing for Highcliffe Hawks or would like more information about our club
Please contact Annie Hancock on 07780 933393 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
We also offer fun football sessions for younger children aged 3-6 years with our Highcliffe Chicks academy.
These sessions are held at Mudeford Wood Community Centre on a Saturday morning.
Highcliffe Chicks was started in January under the care of Annie Hancock, a member of the Highcliffe Hawks Youth FC committee.
The aim of the Chicks group is to provide fun, non-competitive football sessions for children age 3-6 years. We want the children to enjoy exercising, learn new skills and practise team building. After all, Highcliffe Chicks is the future of Highcliffe Hawks!
The Chicks use the all-weather pitch at MWCC, and sessions take place from 10am-11am on Saturday.
There has been a great response to this project, and it will definitely be continuing long term, with the potential to take more teams forward to the Bournemouth Youth League; and as long as the Chicks continue this will help the development of the club for the future.
How to Join
Anyone who is interested in joining Highcliffe Hawks, either the younger Chicks section or older age groups, must contact Annie Hancock directly. The sessions are suitable for any ability and are age-appropriate.
Please note, parents must register with Annie Hancock before their child can join the group. Please also contact her if you would be interested in joining in a coaching role.
